Appearance: Off-white to pale yellow solid powder
Dosage: This depressant is generally prepared as a solution at concentrations under 0.5%. It is typically introduced into the mixing tank before the addition of collectors and frothers, although it can also be added afterward depending on the process. The optimal dosage ranges from 50-600 g/t of raw ore, and the exact dosage point can be adjusted according to site conditions.
Usage/Application:
Depressant D01 works by selectively interacting with gangue minerals such as talc, serpentine, and mica. It forms a hydrophilic film over their surfaces, preventing these minerals from adhering to bubbles during flotation. The product also facilitates the agglomeration of these gangue minerals, reducing their interaction with target minerals and thus enhancing flotation efficiency and concentrate recovery.
