Depressant D497 Mining Chemical Reagent Used for Depressing Clay Minerals
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Product name: Depressant D497
Appearance: White solid particles;

Dosage: 20-500 g/ton
Use/Application: Can effectively achieve efficient inhibition of clay minerals, such as montmorillonite, kaolinite, etc., in a weakly acidic neutral low alkali slurry environment, improve concentrate grade and recovery rate, and significantly improve the problem of difficult settling of tailings fine mud, achieving rapid settling of tailings water. When used together with water glass, the effect is better. The general dosage is clay mineral inhibitor: water glass=1:1~3:1.
Preparation Method: Prepare room temperature water (generally ≥ 5 ºC) with a recommended concentration of 2%~5%. To prepare the reagents in the laboratory, first add water to the beaker, then slowly pour the solid reagents into the beaker. While adding the reagents, stir with a glass rod until they are completely dissolved, and the preparation is complete. For industrial preparation of chemicals, first add water to the mixing drum, turn on the agitator of the drum, and then slowly add the chemicals. Stir for 1-2 hours until the chemicals are fully dissolved in water, and the preparation is completed.

SAFETY AND HANDLING
Avoid formation of dust and aerosols. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Operating personnel must train specially and follow close to the line of operating instruction. Avoid accumulate dust. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
The majority of the reagent is tied up with the concentrate and is destroyed in the subsequent processing operations. The remainder is transferred to the tailings. Release into the water systems should be avoided.
PRECAUTIONS
Avoid violent impacts during transportation.
