YX817 is a high-performance flotation reagent specifically designed for the flotation of silicate minerals and quartz from iron ores. It is formulated from aliphatic ether diamine partially neutralized by acetic acid, offering excellent flotation performance and significantly improving mineral recovery rates.

  • Physical and Chemical Properties:

    • Appearance: Liquid at 20°C
    • Density: 918 kg/m³ at 20°C
    • Flash Point: >100°C
    • Pour Point: < -15°C
    • Viscosity: 420 mPa·s at 20°C, 1000 mPa·s at 10°C
    • YX817 is not soluble but readily dispersible in water and is compatible with cationic or nonionic flotation agents and commonly used modifying agents.
  • Stable Performance: YX817 exhibits excellent chemical stability under normal beneficiation conditions, making it ideal for large-scale industrial production.

Usage Instructions:

  • For Industrial Production: YX817 is typically used as is, without the need for dilution. For laboratory testing, a 5% solution in water is recommended.
  • Preparation: Mix 95 parts (by weight) water with 5 parts YX817 at a minimum temperature of 10°C with good agitation until a homogeneous solution is obtained.

Storage and Handling:

  • Storage: Store YX817 in closed containers at temperatures below 40°C.
  • Precautions: YX817 is not corrosive to iron and steel but must not be used with zinc, copper, their alloys, polyethylene, PVC, or most types of rubber, as they will react with the product or dissolve.
