Copper Sulfate (CuSO4·5H2O) is a premium-grade chemical compound with a molecular formula CUSO4·5H2O. It is a blue or blue-green crystalline substance, consisting of no less than 96.0% CuSO4-5H2O, ensuring high purity and superior performance. With low acidity (H2SO4 content ≤ 0.2%) and minimal water insoluble particles (≤ 0.2%). Copper sulfate loses its crystalline water when heated and undergoes decomposition. It gradually weakens in dry air, but its properties are stable under normal temperature and pressure conditions and will not undergo deliquescence.

Copper sulfate mainly plays the role of an activator in metal flotation, forming a thin film on the mineral surface that promotes the action of a collector. The role of copper sulfate in the mineral processing industry is as follows:
1. Dissolve mineral surface inhibitory film;
2. Due to chemical reactions such as exchange adsorption or displacement, insoluble activated thin films are formed on the surface of minerals;
3. Eliminate the harmful effects of inhibitory ions in the slurry.

Application Case: 
Copper Sulfate (CuSO4·5H2O) can change the electrical properties of mineral surfaces and make them hydrophilic.
