Product Description

Product Name: Depressant D01
Appearance: White to pale yellow solid powder
Dosage: This product should be prepared as a solution with a concentration of less than 0.5%. It is typically added to a mixing tank, with the talc depressant introduced before the collector and frother. Alternatively, the depressant can be added after the collector and frother. The precise addition point can be determined on-site, with a recommended dosage of 50-600 g/t of raw ore.

Usage/Application:

1. The depressant selectively interacts with gangue minerals such as talc, serpentine, and mica to form a hydrophilic film on their surface. This prevents these minerals from adhering to bubbles and being included in the concentrate.
2. The depressant also exhibits selective agglomeration properties, enabling it to coagulate the modified gangue minerals. This prevents them from covering or adsorbing onto the surface of the target minerals, reducing their interference with the flotation of valuable minerals. As a result, it allows collectors, frothers, and other reagents to interact more effectively with the target minerals, thereby enhancing concentrate recovery.
