Copper Sulfate (CuSO4·5H2O) is an inorganic compound with a molecular formula CUSO4·5H2O, widely used in industrial production and scientific research. It is a blue or blue-green crystalline substance, commonly known as blue alum. This product is consisting of no less than 96.0% CuSO4-5H2O, ensuring high purity and superior performance. Copper Sulfate (CuSO4·5H2O) can change the electrical properties of mineral surfaces and make them hydrophilic. This hydrophilicity can increase the interaction area between minerals and water, making it easier for minerals to float. Copper sulfate can also form cations in the slurry, further adsorbing on the mineral surface, increasing its hydrophilicity and buoyancy.
Copper Sulfate serves as a versatile regulator in the flotation process of several minerals, including sphalerite, antimonite,
stibnite, and pyrite. It perform as a critical activator, enhancing the floatability of these minerals during the beneficiation process, ensuring improved mineral separation efficiency.
