Appearance: White to yellowish powder
Dosage: Prepare the depressant in a solution with a concentration of less than 0.5%. It should be introduced to the mixing tank before adding the collector and frother or after, based on the specific needs of the flotation process. The recommended dosage is 50-600 g/t of raw ore, with the exact point of addition determined at the site.
Usage/Application:
Depressant D01 selectively targets gangue minerals like talc, serpentine, and mica, forming a hydrophilic film on their surfaces that prevents them from attaching to bubbles. It also has selective agglomeration properties, which help prevent the gangue minerals from affecting the flotation of valuable minerals, ultimately improving flotation recovery rates.
