Y&X Beijing Technology Co., Ltd. is proud to introduce YX500, a high-performance leaching reagent designed to replace traditional cyanide in gold extraction. Developed with advanced formulation technology, YX500 offers a safer, more sustainable alternative without compromising leaching efficiency.
YX500 is an off-white powder that dissolves easily in water at room temperature. Once prepared, it can be applied using the same process and dosage guidelines as sodium cyanide, making the transition smooth and cost-effective.
YX500 is suitable for a wide range of gold-bearing materials, including:
Oxide and primary gold ores
Silver ores
Cyanide tailings
Gold concentrates
Roasted slags and anode mud
It supports various leaching processes such as heap leaching, tank leaching, carbon slurry, and agitation leaching.
Cyanide-free: Environmentally responsible and safer for operators
High efficiency: Achieves comparable or superior gold recovery rates
Simple integration: No need to redesign existing leaching systems
Versatility: Effective across different ore types and processing methods
1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H) trione: 73%
Thiourea: 21%
Iron carbide: 6%
YX500 is available in bags or wooden boxes, and should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from sunlight or freezing conditions. Apply FIFO (first in, first out) stock rotation.
YX500 is not classified as a hazardous substance. However, direct contact may irritate the eyes and skin. Appropriate PPE (gloves, goggles, protective clothing) is recommended during handling.
Most of the reagent is destroyed during downstream processing, while remaining trace amounts go to tailings. Discharge into natural water systems should be avoided.
YX500 represents the next generation of gold leaching - safer, greener, and just as powerful.
