Clay Interference in Flotation
Suppresses montmorillonite, kaolinite, and similar minerals that coat valuable particles or destabilize froth.
Poor Tailings Sedimentation
Promotes faster settling of suspended solids, improving water recovery and thickener performance.
Low-Concentration Systems
Effective even in low-alkalinity environments, without the need for excessive lime.
High Slime or Fines Content
Especially useful in ore bodies with fine gangue particles that are easily entrained.
